SUGARCANE Solidaridad

Design for a photo exhibition. Photographer Ed Kashi was asked by development organisation Solidaridad to capture the story of workers in the sugarcane industry in Nicaragua and El Salvador. Solidaridad started a project to improve the working conditions of the field workers with simple but highly effective changes, such as enough drinking water, more rest in the shade and more ergonomic machetes.
